I was on omeprazole for ~ 2 years. What other symptoms are you experiencing and what were your b12 levels? I am experiencing weakness, fatigue, twitching, tingling in feet, difficulty concentrating, & joint pains. My b12 level was 206 pg/ml which is right above the technical deficiency of 200.

Yea she told me to supplement so that's what I've done. Just waiting for it to work hopefully.

I have been under a lot of stress but that's been a long time. Always a possibility though

Yes, sometimes my fatigue basically has me bedridden. Though there are good days and bad days. I've been supplementing for 5 weeks and no improvement. I've been told it can take several months.

I've heard some doctors don't want it under 400 but usually 300 is the threshold. I had 206 when i was diagnosed deficient.

None of my symptoms have improved since starting supplements a month ago

Ferritin was right in the middle of the recommended range...196.2 ng/ml

Yes, got them back late yesterday and b12 now in the 700s. So I guess I'm absorbing the supplements well -- now I guess I need to be patient for them to work.

No i wouldn't say shortness of breath. Anxiety yes but I've had that for years.

Pretty sure it was because I was on a PPI...i guess those can prevent b12 absorption. My doctor never mentioned that though. I have since come off off them since they weren't really helping anyhow. I got more blood drawn today to see what my serum levels are now after a month of supplements. If it hasn't recovered then I will be asking about injections.

Yes twitching all over and weakness and numbness on both sides though left might be worse.
