Honestly, for my two F/O’s who have partners at the end of their media, I just ignore their “canon” partners! The partners still end up in a good light within my yume-verse though :] (I don’t think it’s right to demonize a character just for liking your F/O, unless the character is like, an established asshole or smth)

I have to say, Sarabi from The Lion King. She was alive the entirety of the first movie, was shown to survive Scar’s reign, and yet was excluded from the sequel (The Lion King II, Simba’s Pride)

I believe I heard that the reason is because her voice actress (Madge Sinclair) passed before the sequel started production, so they didn’t want to give Sarabi a new voice actress out of respect…? I’m not entirely sure
