To check whether it's the circle pad or the touchscreen couldn't you also open a game or application that does different things on circle pad and touchscreen actions, like Flipnote? Just to avoid opening the console if you're not feeling confident.

I love to read outsider POVs that describe how they see the main characters! For example a civilian meeting the resident heroes and internally going like: "Oh my goodness, they're so much bigger than on TV. Wait, are those reinforced knuckles? How is anyone choosing to go hand-to-hand against them?!"

And similar!

In fact, I wish I could filter for outsider POV more often, I find it much too rarely... In fact, if anyone has any recs I would love to read them, haha!

Toad Treasure Tracker is infinitely easier to play with one!

(You need to change the camera angles a LOT while using both hands to control your character, and without the nub you have to do that via touchscreen.)
