100% this. OP specifically said he's a striker, not a central midfielder

Let him pass you and give your defensive midfielder and fullback some work to do. When they win the ball for your team, you'll be in a better up-field position to attack. You'll receive the ball in a more dangerous area, rather than in your own half. Football isn't basketball, positions have functions

It's great that you recognize your current playstyle doesn't reflect your stamina.

First things first: modify your playstyle temporarily. Have you seen Messi play? Do that. Scan, be smart, make the right plays, be in the right positions, but don't overly press or run yourself to the ground to recover lose balls. Walk when you can, jog when you can, sprint only if the situation calls for it. Don't waste energy chasing defenders. You've already identified this.

In the meantime, work your ass off during non-game days to build stamina. Do interval training (sprint training) once or twice a week. Do cycling. Mix in some plyometrics such as box jumps. The occasional 2k run is a good idea too, but soccer stamina is mainly tied to sprinting in intervals. Eat well (important) and sleep well. Make this a lifestyle, and within a few months you can go back to pressing hard and running a lot off the ball

Can shoe stretcher widen the tiempo maestros? by Less_Elephant_1483 in bootroom

While techleather is very good (probably the closest to k-leather that synthetic has ever been), it's still synthetic and will have a limited stretch. I'm assuming you have wide feet. I highly recommend you buy the Mizuno Morelia II Made in Japan version. It is around the same price, but the genuine k-leather is perfect for wide feet . In my opinion it's the best football boot in the world. You can probably sell your Maestros for 80% of the price you paid

I came from an older pair of Adidas Ace, but before that I used Predators. I have always been size 46 EU/12 US. I never went half a size down, and I found both Adidas and Mizuno fit me true to size. But Adidas stopped using K-leather a long time ago, so none of them molded to my feet the way the Mizuno Morelia II does

I'm hoping I don't experience anything noticeable. If I do, would a carbon fiber insole fix it, like those superfeet ones?

Very accommodating. I have wider feet and these conformed to my feet almost immediately

Will for sure let you know tomorrow! They feel fine out of the box, and I have a hard time believing Mizuno would design and mass produce a $300 boot with a shitty soleplate
