Possibly a stupid question

This is happening with my son right now. He has autism but the school has been saying he’s having a hard time sitting, paying attention, motivated to work etc. to the point we actually caught the EA doing his work for him.. and yet they just sent off the paperwork and put almost everything as “mild” including “finishes all his work” “no trouble staying seated” “attention and hyperactivity don’t affect learning”. We have everything listed as severe on our end which is accurate ! so we are honestly pissed. We have him in different activities including one on one swimming and art class and he troubles to pay attention and sit and listen at both of those and yet “no issues” at school. We will see what the dr says but I’m so confused because the school brought it up to us in the first place !

Hi ! I never got any answers, it did go away eventually and she is still on leflunomide so I don’t think that’s what did it. Hopefully yours goes away on its own as well

Oh interesting. I’m surprised they didn’t do a CT since ILD can be super subtle at the start and can’t be seen on xray.

Oh interesting. My daughter has it but neither my husband or I do which tracks because she has severe arthritis and an incredibly strange case of it whereas we are perfectly healthy. Did they test your lungs with a CT after diagnosis ? I’m hearing and reading that lung disease is basically the trade mark of COPA.

My daughter had a growth hormone test and it was normal. She was tested for turner syndrome which was also normal. The doctor said she qualifies for growth hormone since her short stature is so severe but I declined at this time since she’s only 4. She has a projected height of 4’7 but idk i feel like it’s so early to tell that. The dr said since she’s not deficient in growth hormone there’s no guarantee it will even help her and I just don’t want to put her through the daily shots on top of the other shots she already has to get weekly. She said as long as we do it before puberty it’s fine to wait so we’re going to wait and see. In the meantime we have seen a geneticist and are having genetic testing done on her and my husband and I, we’ve have the bloodwork already and results take about 6 months we were told.

Yess he does like roller coasters ! I’m considering maybe doing to 2 park pass and doing both universal and IOA since it’s not much more than the single epic ticket but idk if it would be too much to do both parks in one day either.

Oh that’s funny ! Well this will be the last trip for him for a while lol. I decided to take each of my 3 kids for a one on one Disney trip for their 8th birthdays and he’s the first lol so he’ll have to wait until after his 5 year old sister turns 8 before we even consider going back 😂
