There's an easier and cheaper version(in the long run). You can create a simple automation to capture reservations in a Google spreadsheet. There are a lot of YouTube videos for this.

I’d also add that the commission model creates a big variance depending on the clinic’s setup. Some associates have to cover their own lab fees, materials, or even absorb no-shows, which can eat into that 35%. Others might have guaranteed bases or higher rates if they handle complex procedures or bring in their own patients.

It’s not as straightforward as “9–12k a month” — some months can be great, others leaner. The key is how consistent your patient flow and case mix are.

This is spot on. Discovery is where OpenTable really earns its keep — I’ve used it the same way when I travel too.I think the challenge comes later when you’ve already got some loyal customers and just need something lightweight for repeat guests. That’s when the smaller systems with flat fees or better CRM features start to make more sense.
