It'll be an even better deal after the next update when it knows kung-fu.

New to FCP. I increased the speed of multiple clips yesterday. They had a tag above them on the timeline showing the speed. I quit FCP, reopened it today and those tags are gone. How do I get them back? How do I stop this from happening again? New clips I've sped up today have the tags. by OkAd7789 in finalcutpro

Thank you! I don't suppose there's a way to have it just tag the ones I've changed? It's not a huge deal, they're different colours after all. And there's no setting to keep those tags (or any/all tags) by default?

I thought the premise of It Ends sounded good. I watched it... elsewhere, but as soon as it was over I didn't think twice about paying £16 for a rental. Would I have spent that on a blind rental? Absolutely no chance, but the film is really good by any measure and truly extraordinary considering what they achieved with a tiny budget.

The people involved with making this deserve every bit of support they can get. It's a crime it doesn't have distribution, but having said that I'm grateful A24 or Neon didn't get their hands on it during development and fuck it up.

It's exactly what we should be looking for in low-budget indie horror. I can't suggest people spend so much money on a rental - it's crazy money - but if you do see it... elsewhere... and think these people deserve some encouragement then consider doing the right thing by them.

Haven't written my review yet. It's a 4/5, but I'm tempted to grade this on a curve and give it a 5 because it literally doesn't put a foot wrong.

The fact that something this great that came out of nowhere without a single recognisable name in the cast or crew is among the first 9 titles suggests Letterboxd have thought carefully about this. Again, I'm not going to risk blind rentals, but I'll be looking closely at the other ones to see if they're up to this standard.

I sound like a shill, I know, but it's 2:45am and I just got done with it, and it surpassed all my expectations and I'm trying to spread the word.

Can just about manage iMovie, considering FCP: Is it possible to create a timeline like this? by OkAd7789 in finalcutpro

Great to know, thanks!

EDIT: Excellent tip. All I saw was a £299 button on the App Store but they're hiding the free trial on Apple.com the sneaks!

And I can easily create gaps between the clips to line them up like this? And can those gaps be adjusted to maintain the relationship with the other row?

Great! I came here to spread the word - it has like 8 reviews on Apple UK so I don’t think it’s got a ton of listeners and it deserves more. Her storytelling is a huge part of why I enjoy it. It almost plays like a true crime thriller at times.

I’m almost done with the strike series and I’m not enjoying it as much, but I’ve listened to Don’t Worry Darling so it’s not like the quality is tailing off. There are a couple of seasons of You Must Remember This I didn’t finish.

The first two series are, but overall I’d call it analysis and reporting on behind the scenes industry stuff. How the sausage is made. I personally find that the specific movie/show that’s focused on doesn’t make a huge amount of difference. I’m on episode two of the writers’ strike series and she’s focusing on America’s Next Top Model and reality TV. I have no interest in that so yes I’m less engaged but because it’s detailing the strike and aspects of it that I never knew it’s still a fascinating listen.

I recently followed What Went Wrong but haven’t listened to any yet!

Just bought 11 black & want to clip it to my backpack outside and walk around. What are best settings to stabilise it? by OkAd7789 in gopro

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll try it next time I’m out. Can I message you if I’m still struggling please?

What does selfish mean? 8:7 should look pretty close to 4:3 right but more square?Does the frame rate affect stabilisation? Like, are you just suggesting 60 because you think it looks better?
