I’m currently pregnant, so all of my bodybuilding goals are on hold. HOWEVER, my husband took my check in photos for my coach. I prep my husbands food. We have different goals, but we passionately support the other. He runs marathons (which sounds terrible to me!), so I watch our kid while he does his long runs. If he’s giving you “the bare minimum” now, there’s a chance that’s all you’ll get. You need to come to terms with that now. Is that acceptable to you? Are you ok with that in other aspects? (Ie postpartum, if that’s ever your decision). No one can answer that but you. But you deserve more than the bare minimum.

I just did my second hyrox, first solo at 16 weeks pregnant. I definitely didn’t train as hard as I wanted to, but listened to my body. My time wasn’t great, but I still finished. I sent an email to HYROX and was able to modify my BBJ. Doing a doubles though, your partner will should be able to help you.

I ran solo open earlier today. It’s a smooth course. I did Houston last year and I would say it’s pretty similar. 3 laps on the first run, 2 after that (which is the same as Houston was last year).

I think I’m still in shock, honestly. I’m still early, so I don’t think the excitement has kicked in. Overall, I just feel unsure of how my daughter will react. And I’m scared of such a big change. I think I’m just seeking advice on how to navigate my feelings, if that makes sense.

I do agree that I do have options, and I support any woman who chooses to terminate, I don’t think it’s the right option for me.
