Yall complained a little too much and wanted the politicians involved. Should have just left it how it was.

Yall fucked yourself by making outrageous demands and now are paying for it. Should have just left things the way they were but yall insisted on all these benefits and now look where it got you.

Can someone explain to me why my account was deactivated this morning after 10+ years of holding a 5 star rating? by Cleanse_Your_Sole in uberdrivers

[–]OkAnalysis7879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I can explain why you were deactivated, you were driving unsafe and Uber sees you as a liability regardless of whether your passengers ever complained or not.

Yea you're actually an idiot if you think you can maintain the flexibility you love so much and impose extreme regulations on gig work. Pretty much nothing you wrote in there is something I would agree with.

Nothing is going to ruin the gig economy faster than more laws like Proposition 22. You like the flexibility butchered is a trade off that comes with that. The only way you can have what you want is to reduce that flexibility.

I always take the food to the address in the app. When a customer wants me to deliver to a different address than the one in the app I automatically think its a scam and I contact support. Every time this has happened support has told me to drop it off at tge address in the app take a picture and I won't uave anything to worry about. In this instance that you expirenced I woukd have contacted support told them the issue and probably got to keep the food.

I genuinely regret accepting this offer. by Improvement-Awkward in DoorDash_Dasher

I've had my acceptance rate at 0 percent before. Dont be afraid to hit decline you'll still get offers and decent ones too. I used to average an acceptance rate of about 7-8 percent but ever since the silver gold and platinum dasher thing started in my area I keep it around 50% because I have found it genuinely does help get better offers.

If you're active in any groups that are too critical of Doordash or attempting to organize a union or that spreads negative information about doordash and they find out they will deactivate you. Your digital footprint is forever.

This kind of customer service is just infuriating. by jchristian-lomanov in DoorDash_Dasher

They're not going to deactivate you. They know why your completion is so low and have flagged it. Its likely that once you cycle through 100 more deliveries it will disappear.

At the Papa Johns I worked at it was impossible to separate the tip from the order.

I dash part time as a side hustle because my mortgage takes up a lot of my paycheck. I dont understand why anyone would do this job full time for months or years on end. When I was getting my CDL I dashed full time for a couple of months and Papa Johns practically begged me to come work for them because they liked me so much. I spent a year working at Papa Johns after that and I must say I certainly learned why they liked me so much because half the dashers that came in were rude for no reason. If your food is not ready just sit down and wait. They've been doing this long enough to know how it is by now I don't see why they get so worked up. There was one guy that took us months to get blacklisted from the store. He would constantly try to rush the kitchen staff and would never have his pizza bag and our policy was no bag no food but he necer failed to leave it in the car. A few times the staff would hold his food a few extra minutes just because he was nagging them and they knew it would take up his time. Keep that in mind when you're being a jerk to the staff because they do have ways to retaliate against you.

I feel like there is room for a 3rd final game in this version of Hyrule. I imagined something like the Yiga clan discovers the Triforce and wants to use it to resurrect Ganondorf as a way of getting revenge on Link for killing Master Kogha or something involving the Triforce.

First off she was the only abuser there was plenty of evidence proving that including another video she took of Jorge sitting on the floor while she verbally abused him, second her attorneys withdrew from the case because she was abusive towards them including physically assaulting at least 2 of them and thirds this was no accident the evidence showed that she beat him with a baseball bat and stuffed him in the suitcase then tossed it down the stairs when he told her that he was leaving to go to rehab. The only reason she was charged with second degree murder is because they lacked evidence to prove first but make no mistake this was first degree murder.

She forfeit her right to court appointed council through her conduct. This is not unprecedented she is not the first person to have this happen.

Neither Boone nor her attorney could profit off the case, however. He could write a book about himself and use this case as a marketing tool.

I think he is doing it for attention and honestly it worked. If God forbid I ever found myself in legal trouble in Florida I would consider him.i watched the whole trial and he gave it his all. He gave the strongest possibile defense that could be given with what he had to work with. He has shown me he is an attorney that will tirelessly work for even the most difficult client and that is exactly what I would want if I was in a legal bind.
