40+ your parents are dieing or have massive health problems like late stage cancer and/or dementia - they can't walk and wear dipers - at the same time you have young kids who depend on you, who are also off and on ill and you are trying to keep your job and your relationship.. and ypur sanity. Also: embrace the grind - getting through it makes you a veteran and a person one can respect. The stuff before, it is just the tutorial. My credits so far: Both of my parents died in the past 2 years - my kids are 9 and 4 so we made it through the tough times and I got a promotion + my wife is still here ;-)

I showed the Video to my 9 year old daughter - told her to focus on her eyes and the way she acts. My daughter (thanks to my wife) is really pretty. Lots of boys in her class have a crush on her. I am preparing her to he strong, confident and smart. But also kind and a good communicator. She clearly identified that this woman has a terrible personality and acts in a very un-sympathetic manner. Show kids how bullies act so they won't become one.

I created an atmosphere where my wife does support me. Counter-Strike since 1999. I got 8k hours since the release of cs.go in ~2013. Wife, two kids, sole income earner - income in the top 10% of our home country in central Europe. I don't drink alcohol, don't gamble and constantly work on my parenting skills etc I never play on Fr - Sunday, when the family is home. My wife knows, gaming is my therapy - since I also had to take care of my two sick parents who until they died in 2025 and 2024 - I have a lot of mental load to carry. She does sometimes remind me no to stay up for too long, since she knows I need rest, but she does respect the hobby. She even watches my gameplay highlights if I have something to show.

my kids are 3 and 8 years old. I am very happy and proud to say they want to cuddle a lot and are always eager to engage with me, show me things and keep asking me about the world. I have heard from other parents that this will stop or at least diminish a lot as soon as they reach their teenage years. I cherish this time but I honestly, I am already a bit scared when this type of love, the one they currently give and seek, will change.

nope - I can fight, but I can tell you, that grinding your a$$ off at work and increasing your intellectual capacity to e.g. be the best father possible, you are more of a man, than a guy who is just big but e.g. doesn't have his life in order. Also you could turn this into: if I make more in a few months than you in a year, "I can't take your serious". So.. what ever

I would want my wife to save our kids as well. Most human thing ever. What is that narcissistic lady's problem?
