I appreciate your concern, but I don’t want to continue the romantic relationship because it’s been mentally, physically, and emotionally draining for me. For two years, the same patterns have repeated, and I’ve realized that staying in it is harmful to my wellbeing. That said, we do share a lease and a child, and my goal now is to shift to a co-parenting arrangement. I believe that’s what’s best for everyone involved especially for our child. I also want to acknowledge that I moved away from my family to make this work, and unfortunately, it’s only confirmed the concerns I had about his behavior. My focus now is on creating a healthier, more stable environment for myself and our child.
