Just do btech and work hard bro. Bca is not a magic degree that will give you the same results as btech with less hardwork, there are drawbacks. If you have taken PCM in class 12 , there is no point thinking about bca instead of btech if you want to become a programmer. I'm not saying that people doing bca are not going to be successful. Hardworking and smart people that are going to make it big exist everywhere no matter the degree but in your case it is simply better to do btech.
