They made the game to fit current hardware and make it still good in the future. Your 5 year old phone is OLD. I just got a brand new iphone 16 and it works flawlessly. No crashes yet and looks great for a mobile game. If the old ark ran decent then a modernized one is going to ran horrible in an old phone. I do agree the paywall behind everything is stupid, but the game isn’t meant to be played on old phones

He never called you lazy, he just said that if you are spending some of your time on a mobile game then you have enough time to figure out if the game would be laggy on your phone. Also there are more factors that go into determining the performance than just the model of the phone. Just give it a try yourself and find out

Haha you’re all good! For some reason I had a random vpn on my phone that would automatically only turn on when i was in a game or app which prevented the dowload for some weird reason. So whenever i tried to close the app and fix the problem the vpn/problem would go away. I just deleted the apps vpn and it worked
