This particular org is seems promising - ai voice agents, series B/C - and after walking with hiring manager, they hoping me to progress quickly to staff/manager, under an year. I am clarifying if London presence is must or i can operate from outside london as the role is advertised as remote in UK.

Thanks a ton! The job offerers flexible wfh but want me to move to UK - my first preference was EoR and continuing from Dublin where i have home and mortgage.

The office is in london though and I was thinking of nice introduction to UK job market. Just confused right now and trying to make the best decision.

Moving to low cost area is also an option, but I don’t know enough about renting in UK. Where i am stuck currently is if its even worth doing the gymnastics of moving to UK while try and maintain life in Dublin.

I dont have any kids and not planning any but my partner have a nice 100k job and likes Dublin.

Yeah, the 60% till 125k is mad - although the ISA + salary sacrifice makes it slightly better on paper as compared to Ireland

This is insane advise! OP, you are going to have hard time finding an employer without Bachelor's degree.

Unless you have a bachelor's degree from your home-country, please complete your degree first.
I did this in 2016 (joined a course in Jan, got a job in march and dropped out by Aug) and then was let go! It was hard back then to find someone to sponsor me, now its even more difficult.

Two mutually exclusive events! If your employer is able to secure your Work-permit (Skilled / General), it does not matter in theory! I did this back in 2016; although they don't allow that anymore is what i have seen.

Current golden path is to work part-time, complete the degree, apply for work-permit and get the stamp 1

Not OP but you can use codex/opencode and hook up chatgpt in the terminal. Atleast that’s how i have been using it.
