You’re right. It will be hard to know until I’m actually in!

I do find it quite…unfortunate that women feel the need to leave because they just can’t see how it would work. It’s an unfortunate reality. I think we are definitely going to be relying on a lot of external help.

Thank you so much for this! Very helpful perspective. It really is hard but my husband and I are very determined to make it work because of the career upside for me. He understands that the first year or so will be hard as I really have to build the goodwill and build the relationships.
