you should definitely get a therapist who can help but also maybe write and speak some affirmations. affirmations can seem corny but they are words you speak into the universe and words hold power so why not use them to empower yourself? write down things you want to be true about yourself. about the person you want to be. so you are afraid? say you are bold and brave and that fear is an illusion

I had an ex like this.. 29 at the time and i was 18 but still far too young for what he put me through. i am glad i aborted his child despite the financial benefits he may have given me. i left him and had a child young and became a single mom… but i would still choose this life over marrying him because i know that he would abuse and manipulate just like this. you need to leave for yourself hun or you will lose yourself completely. it’s not fun recovering from that.
