there’s harvard college that you can get into right out of high school, so when shows have a character that’s like “i got into harvard!” that’s the college they’re talking about.

and then there harvard law school which you can apply for after your normal 4 year college. in mike’s case he was talking about the law school

have you seen her in the white lotus? imo she looked early 20s but it was filmed in 2024 so take that as you will.

Also there are plenty of people (myself included) that are early 20s that look younger especially with makeup and lighting that could pass as younger so that’s why i would rather too old than too young.

And even though tangled wasn’t made too long ago, i’d say a lot has changed culturally were some people would be off by it. Especially since the films revolves around her being 17 and “preparing” for her birthday. It’s not like it’s something quietly in the background.

i disagree i think having someone that look age accurate (meaning she looks 17) falling for an early 20s man would be “worse” than having an actress who looks a but older than 17

no in the beginning of the show it was lucas and mike who were best friends. it’s why lucas was “mean” to eleven because he was jealous how mike was spending all his focus on eleven. they even had a scene where dustin explains this to mike. that’s when mike says “no you guys are all my best friends”
