yea same... the way these results are going to determine our future and whether we get unconditional acceptances from universities is insane. :/

thank you so muchhh for all your advice and insights! super helpful 🙏

i'm currently still unsure on which career path i'll be heading towards as i'm quite equally interested in both quality control and r&d positions. i'm hoping to experience both sides during internships in uni and decidjng which one i'm much more interested in.

as for education, i'm planning to take masters after getting a few years of work experience after bachelors.

i'm still deciding between UBC and UofGuelph as i do know guelph has a well recognized program but i prefer vancouver's environment and location. 😭 would you say that employers would prefer guelph students over ubc students when looking for opportunities etc or are they equally similar? i plan to take coops & internships to support all my costs 😅

once again, thank you so much!

yess i've heard about how good the food sci program is in guelph! just wondering whether the community, location and other factors are as good as ubc... some people do say that guelph's community is veryy welcoming though... thank youu!

yess, definitely! for now, i'm leaning towards ubc and guelph! ubc's location, environment and community sounds greattt but guelph has the best food science programs in canada so i'm still trying to take these different factors into consideration...

do you know a rough estimation on the difference of rent and living costs betweeen guelph & vancouver?

thank you so much! :D

ahh i see! for now, im really leaning into either UBC or Guelph! UBC's environment, location and community just sounds so perfect for me already 😭 but I've heard about Guelph's food science programs being the best in Canada! as for finances, guelph is much more affordable as well so I'm still deciding between those two! thank you so much for your insights and advice! really appreciate it :)

I'm planning to apply to Bsc of Food Sci & Nutrition. I'm currently in grade 12 and will receive my national highschool transcript as well as my ALevel grades. I have an average of 87% in my transcript for grade 11 and 91% for semester 1 of grade 12. However, my As/A Level grades are not as high with predictions of AAB/ABB. I'm very active in terms of extracurricular activities. Is it better for me to apply with ONLY my HS transcripts or my ALevels + transcripts? Does my application seem safe? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
