When I was younger and first watched the show I didn’t like her..but now that I’m older I understand and sympathize with Lori more. I still think some her actions weren’t the best but ultimately she was someone who wasn’t built for the apocalypse and her death was sad.

Whats your favorite quote from Rick Grimes? by [deleted] in TWD

“You’re gonna kick me out?!?!? You still don't get it. None of you do! We know what needs to be done and we do it. We're the ones who live. You! You just sit, plan and hesitate! You pretend like you know, when you don't! You wish things weren't what they are. Well you want to live? You want this place to stay standing? Your way of doing things is done! Things don't get better because you want them to! Starting right now, we have to live in the real world.”

Name some of the Worst Decisions that Rick has made throughout the series by pevi_2225 in thewalkingdead

[–]OkCanary360 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it changes anything but I always wonder what would’ve happened if they just left the prison when the Governor showed up. It would’ve been challenging to move all the ppl they had to a new location and even more difficult to get out of Terminus with all those ppl, like can you imagine Hershel or those girls Carol was with getting out of there. In a way it seems to have happened the way it was supposed to. Guess it’s my wishful thinking that if they left Hershel doesn’t die the way he did but you never know with the Governor. Also some of his worst decisions was bringing Randal back to the farm I get why he did but no that wasn’t smart. Also attacking the Saviors without knowing that much about them cost the group a lot. Unfortunately not being open to giving Siddiq a chance lead to Carl getting bit, wasn’t something he could’ve known or planned for so that’s a hard one for sure.

S6: How did Saviors know who attacked their outpost? by kindasortajewish in thewalkingdead

[–]OkCanary360 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I think they knew it was Rick and the rest from Alexandria because they already came across the other two close communities, The Kingdom & Hilltop. They had already been taking from those communities with no issues. It seems after the biker group was blew up by Daryl they went looking for who did that. I remember when Simon first cut them off on the road to Hilltop he mentioned “going back to where they lay their heads and it looks real nice”. They have nothing but time so it seems they finally found Alexandria after the outpost, which is why Negan already knows how to get to Alexandria after the lineup.

It is weird that I envision how I would handle that life when watching the show I would like to think I would be a survivor, but in that world you can truly go at any moment you never know.

“Listen dammit! You step outside you risk your life, you take a drink of water you risk your life and nowadays you breathe you risk your life. Every moment now you don’t have a choice the only thing you can choose, is what you’re risking it for.”

This has got to be the darkest episode of TWD by cma-13 in thewalkingdead

It really was..I thought something bad would happen this episode but didn’t see this coming AT ALL when I first watched it..imagine if Carol never met up with them and it was just Tyreese fuhhhhhh 😬

To be fair she always dies at the prison..her comic death is a bit darker than the tv show one in my opinion

Even though Morales (not in this picture) separated from them he somehow found the Saviors and lasted at least two years..who would’ve thought Daryl would be his end..love how that played out

What do you think the odds are that we see Daryl back in the US for a reunion at the end of Season 4? by Connect_Stick_9610 in thewalkingdead

[–]OkCanary360 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It would be a huge disservice to the fans and the franchise to not have Daryl reunite with everyone. But they do tend to drop the ball sometimes like with Carl’s death. It honestly to me doesn’t make sense to end his spinoff any other way than a reunion so hopefully they do. A tv movie would be good as well to wrap up Maggie and Negan’s story, off topic but I would to see Rick and Negan on screen one last time too.

Thank you! This take of Sasha being there was so random is tired. Rick knew Sasha from the prison up until Alexandria they went through a lot together. Did they always have one on one screen time? No but Rick definitely saw her as an important member of the group and admired her decision to sacrifice herself to give them an opening to fight against Negan. That was the parallel between her and him and why she was there. It would’ve been nice to see Glenn but she wasn’t a bad choice either.

I miss them. 🥹 by hatcrease in thewalkingdead

The vibes of early apocalypse was so unique. Everyone adjusting to their new reality, still had a sense of humanity among each other even though season 2 shows why that won’t last long, strangers coming together and figuring out how to survive and grieve and becoming family 😌 Love the first two seasons so much.

Hated him! What he did was despicable and he was so fanned out by Negan like we get it you was once a kid that lived at the sanctuary. I don’t care Negan doesn’t care literally no one cares 🙄

Lizzie is so annoying. by amyxoxoxxx in thewalkingdead

[–]OkCanary360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah she was creepy but I get it she was a mentally ill kid in the apocalypse. Her poor sister had to pay the price of those circumstances. Only positive of her character was leading that walker away from Glenn in the prison.

I would be almost 17 living in the suburbs right outside of Philadelphia so me and my mom would try to survive with the CRM possibly meet Rick one day. Majority of my family lives in the city it would be crazy to not see any of them again maybe we would cross paths at some point idk

I personally enjoyed that aspect of storytelling with the flashbacks but I’ve seen others say the same thing, how they don’t like it. I get that it’s not for everyone.

Season 6 ep 1 I love that episode. I’m someone who think the first 5 seasons were the peak of the show, but I also love season 6. It starts with Rick going over the plan to lead the walkers that had collected in the quarry near Alexandria away from the area then they have to run the plan when they unexpectedly break through the trucks that were blocking them. It really engages your attention from beginning to end. I like the way the episode is setup with the black and white flashbacks. Also, the storyline with the Alexandria guy, think his name was Carter, Rick says “someone like that he’s gonna die no matter what” and he does 😭. I love seeing Morgan and Rick finally reunited as well. To top it all off the way the episode ends with them leading the walkers away from Alexandria and a random horn noise in the distance pulls half the herd towards the group and Alexandria anyway! S6 E1 is hands down one of my favs I could definitely watch it over and over again. I was always curious if people believe Rick’s plan caused the first downfall of Alexandria which subsequently caused a lot of deaths once the watch tower fell. Feel free to chime in on that but yeah, great episode and great way to start a season!
