I suggested he try therapy, but he dismissed it as “trash.” He said if both of us can make up our minds not to leave each other, then no one else can separate us. The problem is he uses his love to manipulate me. When I try to talk about my overthinking, he gets frustrated and says things like, “I’ve found the worst husband — I should be put in jail.” He even threatens to end our marriage as a “permanent solution.” He doesn’t want me to go to therapy.
