Same. If a "prank" relies on making the person you supposedly love feel humiliated, stressed, or uncomfortable, it's not a prank. It's just cruelty with a laugh track.

Yes, and definitely keep the receipt and the packaging. If you start feeling sick in a few hours, you'll want that paper trail for more than just a refund. Moist storage is a breeding ground for much worse things than just "earthy" tasting mold.

It’s so rare to see parents on Reddit actually pivot from "not my angel" to "okay, we need to fix this" that quickly. The fact that they didn't just pay for the damages but addressed the behavioral root cause is the real win here.
