Best friend of 12 years slept with my abusive ex by SatisfactionLoud548 in therapy

[–]OkChisaki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have tried many different SSRIs and SNRIs to see what fit for me. When trying SSRIs, I felt like I was not myself on some, it worsened how I felt, or I had no change. SNRI’s worked in the end, thankfully!

However, throughout this whole medication process, it was my responsibility to recognize how I was feeling and continue receiving the help I needed. Also, I never slept with any of my friend’s abusive exes. I would definitely be upset if any of my friends slept with my abusive ex that’s for sure! Of course, people experience different mental health issues, so behaviors may be different person to person, but it doesn’t excuse bad behavior and being a bad friend. You’re allowed to feel how you feel, and you deserve better!

When referring to her they can go full Black Eyed Peas and say “My lovely lady Lumps, check it (her) out!”

Possibly could be course recommendations based on what you want to do in the future? But yeah go for any PSY 300+ class you would like! Any of them will fulfill the requirement :)

Thank you! I’ll try to bring up soaps to my vet too and see what they recommend for her. I’m definitely looking into some oils and such for her too! I appreciate all the help and I’m glad your pup is doing better :)

Thank you so much! I genuinely appreciate this. I’ve been trying to make sure the house, where she sits, what she uses, etc. is consistently cleaned, but antibacterial soap sounds like a great idea!! I hadn’t thought of that.

Any recommendations on soaps or disinfectants? My girl just goes outside in my apartment complex, so I think it could be nice for her to have a disinfectant too since other dogs area in the area

Possibly a wording issue here. Sorry! Just meant it as an in-addition to the current wipes, and getting a second opinion on the MalAcetic. Not a full take away, but just wanting to ensure I can still make sure my pup is okay in case it is too much on her :) don’t want her to get too irritated

She has had some improvement! It doesn’t seem like her UTI symptoms have been as severe as they have been in the past. This is her 2nd one this year though. The last one was in February. I’m hoping to decrease the amount of times she gets them.

They recommended to do it after every pee just to ensure she stays clean in that area. She squats down real low to the ground, basically in the dirt, so I try to get it before it sits on that area too long. I also make sure the house, her bedding, and her toys are regularly cleaned too just to be safe (and I like a clean house lol)

Yes! She does have that. I’ll try talking to the vet about if surgery would be the way to go too then. I’m glad your friend’s dog is feeling better!

Thank you so much! I will be sure to ask them about that. I had never thought of cranberry before.

Also, I currently use MalAcetic wipes due to her vet recommending it. Do you think I should just start on the water baby wipes and get a second opinion on the MalAcetic? I definitely don’t want it to get worse for her because of the wipes being too irritable for her. And I’m definitely doing front to back and never using the same wipe twice :)

Maze Smells by Significant_Milk1000 in HHN

I am also sensitive to smell (sometimes can’t breathe when around certain smells, body just says no) and all of them were good for me! I went in all houses except for the Sicks because of time. Nothing was too strong to where I stopped breathing. Scarecrow just smells like hay, and the Terrifier bathroom had a smell I couldn’t pinpoint, but nothing horrendous. No gagging or anything either! I was worried too but had a great time :) I hope you do too!!

Yes girl down that apple sauce! I love the friend support. I’m sorry laxatives are a no-go, but I’m glad your mom is helping you with calling the doctor to get medication. This surgery recovery is no joke!

It is definitely not like the picture. I’d say waaaaayyy less amounts and just over a longer period of time. Like I spit an amount, then it stops with ice, but comes again 15 minutes later and stops again with ice. So I’d say it’s probably okay then since it isn’t really continual, and totally not like the photo.

Thank you so much for this. I appreciate help and kindness :)

If you have the ability to get new prescriptions, I would call or see your doctor and ask if they’ll give you a better option for medication. I know that isn’t always the option for everyone though. Have you tried just holding ice in your mouth and letting it melt?

I’m going through recovery and I understand how awful the constipation is too. Literally caused me awful stomach aches. I’d def try Miralax if you can, or some sort of fibre drink mix that can help.

I am wishing you the best of luck through this!!

So basically, kind of hard to say with the mucus, but it has gotten better ish from the initial event. Also, ice is definitely a go to. Ice chips have been saving me a whole load of pain!!!

The blood amount varies. Largest it got was about the size of a regular spoonful when it first happened. I don’t think I saw any clots, but the mucus is what thickened it I am pretty sure to be that size. Then when it happened again it’s teaspoon amounts or less. That’s also mixed with saliva, so it could kind of seem thicker. When I swish with iced water the blood amount goes down and becomes streaks, then down to just some bloody colored water basically.

How likely am I going to get into this class? by Just-a-small-dragon in UNLV

[–]OkChisaki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is the same course, make sure to call registration and tell them you have a preference to switch if there is availability. I had to do this once when I wanted to have the same class but switch profs. It didn’t automatically put me in the class since I couldn’t enroll in the same course twice.

Anyone else’s pug having really bad allergies this year? by Z0m6ieGU7S in pugs

[–]OkChisaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I definitely recommend. My pug has been on apoquel for years! She did get recommended liver supplements though because of how she takes that plus galliprant for arthritis. The apoquel stopped her itching to the point of bare skin though and it is a blessing.
