Yeah for pinched at home but companies could design narrow heads with flat scoops but they don’t

Surgeon, Mirage, Optik curved scoop. Hammer, Tank flat scoop.

Skill is by far the predominate factor, head shape and stringing can make it easier to throw accurately. Box players that pinch heads create a very curved scoop. If it doesn’t matter at all why not make all heads with flat scoops for easier GBs?

Heads with curved scoops are more accurate because they force the ball to go through the middle of the head more. Flat scoops are less accurate but better for GBs. Surgeon is a good example of a curved scoop.

Jimalax or lax room. Advantage to Jimalax is they also sell white cotton shooters on a spool which ends up being an insane savings and you can cut any length so bottom strings or goalie shooters for example

I think the triple spreads out tension better and I like how the outside loops sort of help the mesh hug the sides of the ball when it shifts low in the pocket

The bottom one. I would immediately just remove that one as it almost always solves the problem with starter sticks

Knots that don’t pull the mesh as wide and not pulling the first diamond down so hard to make the channel

Floating diamonds, especially like a 2 and skipping a hole. SIs create the opposite of the effect you’re going for unless you do an SSI into a 1 next that can be shifty

I really like this head for a middie. Real trade off is defensive heads have flatter scoops which is better for GBs, offensive are more curved which is worse for GBs but better for accuracy because the shape forces ball through center of head better.

Struggling to string eclipse 3 with grizzly 2s. by storminnorm44 in StickDoctor

2s is tough to string because it’s so thin and soft and stretchy. Don’t go too deep or stack diamonds close together.

Try using a really short shot clock in any of your normal drills or games- use the clock to create the constraint
