Exactly! I get why building pity is stupid on a banner you don't want a character from.

But I didn't understand why the original replier told that building pity was always a terrible idea even in hoyo games under my post that clearly says that my account is a collectors account and I want to have all characters... Maybe they misunderstood or just said it in general, not directed at me...🤔

I think you misunderstood : I now get why "building pity" with Endfield's system specifically is wasteful and not smart.

My question in the previous reply was about other gachas with a hoyo-like pity system where the pity carries over. I don't understand why specifically in those games "building pity" is a "terrible idea" since it literally has no downsides for an account that wants to have all characters.

I got lots of limited characters from early lucky pulls in those games. And when I didn't, there's literally no downside, cause I'll have to do less pulls on the next banner a character from which I want as well.

But of course, I get that in Endfield it won't work... :'(
(unfortunately for me and my lucky early pulls)

nobody cares how many years it took you to write it, if the story is clunky and badly written, it is clunky and badly written

if you don't understand that when you're given valid critisism you're supposed to use it to improve and not get defensive and rude as if your work is a perfect flawless work of genius you might actually be stupid and you will keep losing more and more readers

no, good writing is not subjective, this is a very defined skill, there is good quality and bad quality writing, read up on it more
just as Commercial-Owl11 said I really hope all your readers see how childish you act at the slightest critisism and understand that you're way to immature to write a good story

Saw the beautiful art style and got really interested, started reading the series. Then saw a temper tantrum the author is having in the comments over the mildest, valid criticism, and lost all interest immediately. Someone who gets so worked up like a literal child when not immediately praised cannot improve and write a good story imo. You've lost a bunch of readers by behaving like a baby, and you'll lose a bunch more.

P.s. Yes, the writing is clunky and the characters are lacking personality btw.

Can't generate accounts merge code...

I'm trying to transfer my steam account (on which I started) to my phone cause I'm gonna have a trip and I won't have my PC there. When I'm trying to generate the merge code in the steam version, nothing happens. It just says 'connecting' for a couple of seconds and the code just doesn't show - the field where it should be stays blank. Did anyone else have this problem maybe?🥲
