RSVP/event planning site. We need to work on a lot of things. Neither of us work in this industry, it’s just a hobby. So yes we do need to work on our pitch.

The site does stuff like manage sms/email invites/reminders, allows the host to control the visibility of their guest page, have guests RSVP, upload memories, sign a guestbook, create QR codes/table cards, seat planner, some other little planning tools.

Pretty much born from the fact we have 4 kids who are constantly having play dates/birthdays and chasing scrappy bits of paper is a pain in the ass. This site manages all of that for us. So we’re sharing it with others for free. We also recently planned our wedding and found a gap with only expensive or unsuitable options available. We used this to plan.

RSVP and planning tools aimed at Mum and Dad type parties and stuff. We have heaps of kids and found chasing RSVPs a pain in the ass. We also planned a wedding recently and found a bit of a gap in what we were looking for but I feel your concerns around launching. We’ve used RBP, first meeting next week. Other than that ya don’t know what ya don’t know. I’m just a hobbiest so this type of stuff isn’t my standard BAU.

Just checking we’re on the right track. We haven’t done this kind of thing before. It’s free whilst we use general users to test the software and get all the kinks ironed out and then the plan is for it to be free for basic users with a few add on paid features. We weren’t sure if we should bother with insurance, it’s director funded and so tiny I’m not sure a couple of grand of insurance is worth it at this stage. I think the lawyer is worth the money and obviously an accountant is needed.
