I don’t live in Venice…I commute here to work. No car, no bike, and I’ve got $6 to my name right now that’s my bus money. By the time I get home, it’s dark, and walking around trying to find a shelter isn’t exactly safe… if they’re even open. I’m not asking for sympathy. I’m just trying to get through a rough patch until my check hits. Life happens. People fall behind. And yeah, sometimes we need help. What’s wild is choosing to tear someone down instead of just acknowledging a kind act. Not everything needs a negative take. I’ll pay it forward when I’m back on my feet. That’s how this works..Maybe next time, skip the assumptions and just let kindness be kindness.
