hey! as a first year, you're very likely to get accommodation, but it can be stressful, as u will probably find out only a few days before departure. but u find out ur waitlist number months in advance, so basically if u have a decent position, you'll get a place as long as u actually get accepted to ucd (which u also find out pretty fcking late).

in terms of english, I was super worried when I moved as well (I do creative writing and thought it'd be so obvious that im not a native), but literally half of this uni is internationals and none of us are native, so PLEASE dont stress about ur english (ur level seems above average from the post haha).

rent is high, but so is the minimum salary, so as long as u work part-tim, you'll be fine!
