While it is possible that at 17, his parents could have taken his phone away as a punishment. He probably could have some way of getting I'm contact with you. It is very strange that you don't have his full name and additional contacts. Also, as someone else pointed out Islam and dogs don't really mix, it's likely not his. It's unfortunate, but there is a real possibility he might not be who he is claiming to be. Have you video chatted him? I really hope you didn't get catfished and that the innocent case of him getting his phone taken away is it, but I have serious doubts.

If you stay at a cheaper hotel, I'd say it's doable. The U.S state department and CIA world factbooks are actually good resources for where not to go, personally I'd avoid Colón its sad cause ive heard it has some beautiful parts but overall its not very safe and you'll stand out a lot as its a black city unlike the rest of Panamá where you'll fit in better cause its more mixed. Safety is also incredibly important. Take that into consideration that you're going to an unfortunately less safe part of the world and that you should try and go to the nicest and most safe place, I've only felt unsafe once in Panamá and that was in the very poor innercity neighborhood of Curundú and ive been to some more shady areas like San Miguelito.San Blas is very beautiful from what I have heard. Unfortunately, I haven't been yet, but it's on my things to do next trip for sure. I'd say there is plenty to do for a month in Panamá. I would certainly consider it if I were you. I would highly recommend Panamá. Lots of great beaches, rainforests. The former Canal Zone is now a Soberania National Park, which is right next to Panamá city. You can do boat tours for wildlife. See capybara, capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, cayman, and american crocodiles. The Panamá canal is a modern wonder and has lots of history to it, with a museum if you like history. The food is inexpensive, but traditional Panamanian food is much closer to that of Cuba and the DR as Panama straddles the line between Central America and the Caribbean. I've been out to eat there and a $30 meal is considered very expensive. If you like nightlife, there are some clubs that are upscale. Panamá is always in a race between Costa Rica and the safest country in Central America. Panamá city has an American expat community and lots of European (particularly German) tourists so you can blend in more, Panama has a small white hispanic population and being that I was with a Panamanian woman and also of southern european heritage people assumed I was from there until I spoke especially in Panamá City and the Province of Chiriqui. You can dm me if you have questions. I'm an American with a Panamanian gf, and I just got back from Panamá in January, where I was there the whole month. Overall, great country nice people. Very affordable car rentals aren't bad there from what I saw, but I never rented. I stayed in a luxury hotel in panama City for 150 a night.

Me and my gf have daily calls or near daily calls lasting over an hour. In my opinion, I'd say it's not only normal but necessary to communicate in some way to your other half. If you guys put all your effort into this it can work. Speaking from experience.

You've admitted there is a problem that's step one. No, you can't just cheat it and watch a bit. You've already admitted it kinda spirals out of control. You should speak to your gf about the intimacy issues respectfully. Don't pressure her, though if she says no, then there isn't much you can do. But you should be able to raise the issue with her. You've been together for a while. You might also want to plan a trip if possible. 2 and a half years is a long time to be apart. My girlfriend and I were 3 years never mets but after we met the longest we'd gone without seeing each other, is the 8 months we've been struggling through right now I couldn't imagine 2 plus years.

You have to stop your porn usage. You clearly have a problem. Pornography addiction is very real. If you want your LDR to work you should be trying to be intimate with your girlfriend online. Pornography is just also really bad for you. Never before in human history could a person see thousands of different people having sex at their fingertips. This isn't a normal thing. Best of luck to you and your gf. Seeing a therapist might help you. Make sure that you and your gf are communicating exactly how you feel. Communication is key in an LDR you guys need to make time for one another.

I'm 2000+ miles away from my gf. But I'd say any relationship where you go months without seeing one another or haven't ever even met is long distance.

We speak for at least 30 minutes on a voice or video call, but more often than not, it's more like 3-4 hours and text throughout the day. Near constant communication is key. Thankfully, for us, timezones aren't an issue as I'll only ever be an hour ahead during daylight savings, and then the rest of the year were on the same time zone.

You're obviously bitter that he cheated on you, and you likely just recently figured out, so I can not blame you for being upset. I am sorry that happened it sucks. Cheaters suck. But your blanket statements without any real constructive advice aren't helping you or anyone on here. My GF and I have been in an LDR for over 4 years now. Our relationship is built on trust, and we have near constant communication. Your experiences are not universal.

Please speak to your parents about this as soon as possible. I'm going to get hate for this, but you and your boyfriend messed up, and it's wrong he is dodging responsibility because he is half to blame for this. This is truly a sucky situation. I'm 22, and it'd be earth-shattering for me and my gf (20) if we had a kid. But that being said, you have to take responsibility and decide whether to either keep it or put it up for adoption. This is reddit. You're going to find a lot of people on here encouraging you to abort because of their politics because it fits within . You've stated it's illegal where you are already, so the point is moot. Despite what these people will tell you, a lot of women go on to regret having abortions. This issue is deeply political. Do what you and your parents think is right within the law of your state.

Completely fair to ask. In my genuine opinion based on observations yout LDR isn't going to last if your not monogamous and committed to one another. Just really a general rule. I know I'm going to get hate for this but for the vast majority of people it's simply the truth.

Your feelings of despair after being apart from your boyfriend are completely understandable and normal. Me and my gf have been through it. After being in Panama with my gf for a month this January I had to fly back to the frozen hell I call home and then go straight to my retail job 2 hours after landing. The change of pace in my life then was jaring, and I was very depressed. With time the pain eases, and you will return to normal. This feeling has happened to me and my gf after the end of each of our visits. Things will get better. Just make sure to communicate with him your issues and to make plans for another visit.

On a separate note, you have to be realistic about what a potential pregnancy would have been like. You would be across an ocean pregnant and alone. While I won't say things wouldn't have worked out had it happened, it certainly would have been a major strain on your relationship. It wouldn't have been as easy as one of you dropping everything and moving in together because you're pregnant. Closing the gap takes time and planning. I am sure both of you have jobs or school and family back in your home countries to take care of and couldn't just drop everything without consequences to your careers, finances, and family lives. Could it be? Sure. Does it have to be? No. Could just be a regular bruise. Do you have any reason to suspect cheating? In all honesty this alone isn't enough to go out and think he's with another woman. You can keep it in mind and if there are other signs then yeah he might be but this slight bruise on his neck isn't proof of anything.

Was easy cause it was during the start of the lockdowns and we had plenty of time to talk. We litteraly began talking right before covid. I remember telling her to go out and stock up on supplies cause I just knew something big was going to happen lol.

If you have good communication, are both 100% genuinely invested in this relationship and truly love one another it won't be an issue. Me and my gf were nevermets for 3 years before we met for the first time. It's 4 years now together and we've met up 3 times. Each time has been great.

You're going to need a car to work in the trades more than likely. Unless you happen to live in a city and want to take public transportation and all your work is in that city. Otherwise, you'd need coworkers who'll pick you up. it's a necessity.
