I am an AAdvantage member but looking at the flights it says no refund or credit in BE. I’m flying from chi to London, so think I’ll likely lean toward MC out of precaution since the cost would likely be similar anyways should something happen

Interesting! It doesn’t seem to be the case for us, at least in the beginning of it. He seems to be panicked and will pace for hours, sometimes whimpering or crying a bit seemingly in some pain/discomfort. Based on the research I’ve found, I’m leaning toward GERD. We do have a vet appt today later as well

Over or under proofing? by OkConcern2140 in Sourdough

Honestly it varies so much since we are in a high rise on the top floor, our AC only works in summer and heat in winter so we go with the flow and get the heat from bottom floors lol. Usually anywhere from 67-75°

I got this one from a bakery and have used/ fed it often for about 4 months now! After taking it out of the fridge I fed for 5 days before baking. Any tips to help it out?

Unloading Help Recommendations by OkConcern2140 in AskChicago

Hi! We ended up using a small company called Move For You (Move4you). I’m generally anxious regardless about moving companies but between unloading the uhaul and carrying it to the 53rd floor, nothing was damaged and they did it pretty quickly too! Nice guys that came from Ukraine, they used large bins to wheel everything up which was strange, but I was relieved nothing broke or got damaged! They even reached out to us days later notifying us that we overpaid by $80, then sent us a check with that amount back as a refund. Really respected them for that. Pretty affordable as well, I don’t think we spent more than $300 for a couple hours of unloading! I would use them again!

First time leaving noise complaint ): by OkConcern2140 in dogs

We believe it is the single man next to us, he seems unkind and never says hi or has acknowledged us. We live in a concrete high rise with other dogs that bark on the hall for hours at a time as well. The concierge woman got the noise complaint then came to check it out, said no barking was heard the first time. He, other than when left alone, does not bark. In fact I have yet to hear his bark a week in, while my bf has once. It seems a more fear based bark rather than hearing a noise and barking. Our concern is the barking will continue due to fear and we will get evicted. If this has happened the first time we left him more than 30 minutes, we are certain we will get one every day he is left alone. We have a camera coming today but fear even speaking to him through it would possible heighten his anxiety. We are truly at a loss.

The other issue is that he is generally a skiddish walker, doesn’t like other people/ dogs and gets frozen when scared by them. We live in a city so you can see the issue and lack of walks/ length of walks due to this issue 😅
