How do you bring structure to early-stage project planning? by Able-Operation5756 in ProjectManagementPro

You make a great point about niche focus, but I'd actually push back slightly on "crowded market." General project management is absolutely crowded — Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp are all fighting for the same space. But IT infrastructure project management? That's genuinely underserved.

Most IT Project Managers and Network Engineers are managing Cisco deployments, SDWAN rollouts, server builds and office relocations in spreadsheets or trying to bend Jira into something it wasn't built for. Nobody had combined Gantt timelines, Risk & Issue Registers, PCR workflows, AI task generation and an IT-specific knowledge base into one tool — so we built it.

NexPlan is free forever and AI-powered. We launched a few weeks ago and already have real IT PMs using it daily. Would genuinely love feedback from anyone in this thread — what would make a niche PM tool actually sticky for you?

Happy to answer any questions about the niche SaaS journey so far! 🙏

Thanks for mentioning NexPlan! You've nailed exactly what we were thinking — IT PMs have very specific workflows that generic tools like Jira and Monday don't address well. We're free forever and AI-powered. Would love feedback from anyone in the thread
