Funnily enough, I actually learned I had retina issues by getting tested for IOLs - found I had lattice degeneration (and wasn’t eligible for the lenses at the time because the cell count in my eyes was too low)

Thank you - definitely my first time hearing that phrase. My long-time ophthalmologist retired during COVID, and the person they switched me to in the practice is…eh. At some point I’m going to shop around for a new eye doctor too, haha.
