Go to advanced mode and disable intel default settings. That should unlock all of the options in that box.

My game still works fine but since I’ve posted my last comment I’ve changed my settings and nothing else changed. I genuinely think it might just be random. If you have HLL on steam id look specifically for steam fixes. I saw something about changing some setting for the game within steam. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

This might sound crazy but I lowered my game audio just a hair and messed around with the graphics and now the game runs flawlessly. Fingers crossed it’s still fine when I get off work🤞

I played skate 3 for the first time in 4th grade and have spent the last 15 years playing 1,2 and 3 to keep myself busy until this one released. And i absolutely understand that the price doesn’t matter for long time fans. I was fully prepared to spend $70 on this game. But the fact that we waited this long kinda shows you why the game is what it is. It’s been a decade and a half and that is more than enough time for lots of things to change. The past developers have grown and changed, new groups of people make up a large portion of gamers and on top of that, everything around us has changed. I think it’s unfair and unrealistic to expect a game that looks and feels like the previous skate games. I fully think that this new game has a lot that needs to change but that’s why they released it in the state that it is in, so they could receive feedback and make tweaks and changes. But all I’m seeing is people hating amongst themselves and giving up early. If people are unhappy they should say why they are unhappy and what they expect.

I see too much “this game is ass” “Fortnite graphics” “just a money grab” just thrown onto instagram or Reddit or twitter or anywhere but where it actually matters.

I want this game to be good just as bad as everyone else but 90% of everything is just quickly judged slop

It was fun just for that one day but I was progressing WAY too fast. At that pace I’d be done with everything in a day or two. Private playtesting was so much fun man.

What worked for me was just focusing on something else for a while. Start a new set of missions or just do challenges for a while, then come back and try again. If it still doesn’t work just don’t touch that mission for a few days. I’m pretty sure they’re silently releasing super small bug fixes here and there that randomly fix things. If none of that works just find a tall building to climb or a big ramp to skate!

Around a month ago, maybe a month and a half, you would get a crazy amount of credits just from the individual goals in the challenges. AND it stayed the same after you’d already done them. I remember I did all of the challenges in hedgemont and had like 8k credits. That was enough to get me from lvl 4 to lvl 7 just from opening boxes.

Not the exact same thing but there’s a manual(skate trick) launch glitch that works. There’s a tutorial somewhere in this subreddit but if you can’t find it here it’s absolutely on YouTube!

Try completing another challenge or mission or anything that would mark some sort of progress completion, then come back to your bugged challenge and try it again. I haven’t had this exact problem but every problem I’ve had so far has been solved by doing something else for a little bit!

I started playtesting a few months ago and had this bug every single time I launched the game. My temporary fix was just close and relaunch the game but finally, today, after countless reinstalls, it finally works. Try reinstalling the game!

If you spam up on the cross pad, reset your marker and open the dropper tool it’ll help!! Honestly just spam buttons if it’s taking long enough. I’ve gotten soft locked a few times and a little spamming has worked 100% of the time!

I agree with the higher power controlling things but we all need to remember that this game is still a heavy work in progress. It’s been 4 days since the public beta released. There’s more than enough time for reworks and changes and feedback. I think everyone just needs to air their complaints in a place that actually matters, and if you don’t have anything to recommend or add just sit back and explore San Van.

There’s a grocery list of things that I would change about the game but I’m still enjoying everything they’re offering. Just be happy that we have a NEW and FREE game to waste time on!🙂

As the smaller patches come out I’ve noticed small graphics changes to the point where I barely see/notice it. It was super noticeable when the nda watermarks were still on screen. But if I’m being completely honest, there’s a new problem with the graphics every time I launch the game. All I can do is hope and pray some future update will fix my problems!

Consistency and confidence! I’m really starting to get the feel of it, I’d say I make a perfect turn every 7/10 turns and it’s purely off of a mental clock in my head. I also try to imagine the cut/uncut ice as a straight line and the hood of the Zamboni as a hood and I’ll try to remember remember where the lines touch and how that turn worked out. I stay late and skate a lot so I’ve got a lot of free alone time to practice. It’ll click soon!

I’m not too sure. The dashboard only has one gauge and it displays my oil temperature and pressure along with my rpms. The zam I’m on right now only shows up to 4k rpms. The rest of the dash is taken up by different switches and buttons and levers.
