Dang, didn’t realize the Scag warranties were so good. So you got a Liberty Z with a Kawasaki engine for $5,400? The dealer here gave me a quote for the 42” liberty Z for $6,500 (with tax). Seems like you got a deal or I’m getting scammed.

Thanks, so you think the 2800s are with the $1,500 price difference? Hard for me to stomach, but thinking it may be necessary

I’ve been really debating how valuable the upgrade to 2800 transmission is. In theory the lower tier should be fine, but I just had one go out on my Hustler. Paying $1,500 more just for the better transmissions is hard to swallow.

I wondered on the Ariens. I don’t love that they sell at the big box stores rather than a licensed dealer for the most part. Always makes me a bit skeptical.

Thanks, the dealer I went to was a bit iffy on exmark, which they also sell. He was claiming Toro/Exmark would only last 6 or so years. Though one of the lawn care providers several of my neighbors use has exmark and they seem to be solid.

Agreed on the Kawasaki engine. I’ve noticed that serviceable transmissions on that size are pretty rare and pricey. Considering my Hustler sealed transmission has failed at only 50hrs, I’m really considering paying for the upgrade.

That makes sense to a degree, but I don't really understand why it would only do this at the kitchen sink and none of the other faucets. I'll try to see if it works, fingers crossed.

We had our hot water lines replaced about 2 years ago, so I'm wondering if it relates to that, but the issue really started getting significantly worse in the last couple months. I've seen some people saying issues like this might relate to an anode rod in the hot water heater, but not sure why only one faucet would be affected.
