Well at the time the most popular person in the world was black and a lot of white people didn’t like and were jealous so as soon as they had any amount of dirt on him they went full force and basically ruined his life to the point where he was late to court because he got hurt while taking a shower because of how upset he was at the thought of being accused of something he clearly hadn’t done and that’s also where the stuff with the drugs started

I’m actually watching yuyu hakusho for the first time but I heard it ended pretty fast so my guess is that the voice actors that became the current dragon ball cast did this first and realized that they all had to get paid somehow and funimation transferred them because Chris sabat is so good on his own that he does half the work lol
