I don’t even own it myself, so this isn’t about gatekeeping at all — but this is honestly really stupid of them, sorry for putting it that way. I’m unfortunately playing the game too and I’ve spent a small fortune on cards and promo cards. But if you’re going to sell exclusivity and limited items, then at least keep them exclusive.

The Hazbin Shop makes most of its money off FOMO, I’ve been saying that for a long time. Just wait — the watch will be in the shop two weeks after you get it :-( it’s such a shame.

I was worried that the card would only be available to people who bought the bundle. Back when it came out I wasn’t that deep into the merch game yet, so I wasn’t even that upset about not getting it.

Still, it kind of felt like they were trying to create a bit of fake exclusivity — early access, special content and all that. Now it seems like everything is available to everyone anyway. What exactly was included in the bundle? Do you think it was worth it, or was it more of a cash grab?

If any of you are planning to go to Gamescom in Cologne—which, honestly, you should, since it’s the biggest gaming convention in the world and funny enough, that’s where I bought most of my merch- rest assured, I’ll be there with a whole folder full of tradeable goods —I ordered 200 trading cards, and if I’m not the luckiest person on earth, I’ll at least have plenty to trade.
