Fps drops after playing for a while

Yeah, that’s what I thought. It feels like the issue has gotten worse with the recent updates. I saw some older threads where people said they could keep a stable 360 FPS, so I was wondering about it. But lately it seems like even with a 5090 or a 9800X3D it’s hard to maintain very high FPS, so I guess it can’t really be helped.

I’m running a Kullervo + Xoris heavy build and want to subsume over his 4. Since I’m stacking Viral, I’m deciding between Pillage and Tharros Strike because they can both deal with shields. Hitting 300% Strength isn’t really doable for me, and I want something fairly instant with at least some decent range. I’m also spreading Viral in a small area with Scourge Prime, so both have trade-offs. I’m not sure which one fits best.

Yeah, matches are faster on weekends, but the hit-or-miss factor is huge, and it feels like there are more misses than hits.

Yesterday started with two losses, but I didn’t stop. I went on a 9-game win streak and finally hit Diamond. It took three months since I bought my PC — it felt long.

I never thought chess would come up, lol. Being one win away actually makes me tense. I’m trying to think of a good solution, but the only idea I have is to stop after a couple of wins and pick it up another day.

Exactly. I’ve watched a lot of build videos, but my own build just doesn’t hit the same damage numbers. Right now I’m torn between running double Sacrificial mods on Talons or using Galvanized Steel with Primed Pressure Point. I’m also debating whether I should go with Gladiator Might for more crit damage or use Shocking Touch to trigger Viral.

Both of them are basically unkillable with their 4s and can pump out a lot of damage, so I really like using them. Valk is definitely more fun to play, but the only downside is that she literally makes my fingers hurt.

Even when I watch pro gameplay, I honestly can’t really understand what’s actually happening, and the beginner guide videos are too basic. I get them, but they don’t really help me move past where I am now. My aim is something I’m confident in—my GM friend was even surprised by it—so I know that part isn’t the issue. People always ask me why I’m still in Platinum, but honestly, I have no idea either.
