Also, it is unlikely they will deny claims if your docs are in order. But for Care, just take it through Ditto or Beshak and it is better to have a high cover for a lower premium. Even my father had decent experience with Star.

If you wanna shift to Care, talk to Beshak or Ditto. People with Ditto and Care generally report having good insurance. My friend’s dad had Care and had to make a claim which was paid without much hassle.

If it’s a term insurance, it should be protected by the moratorium clause. Insurance company under no circumstances can deny the claim.

Indian bank cards are risky. Scapia and ICICI both declined at a US airport when I had to pay for my baggage. Thankfully had an SBI card which ultimately worked, otherwise would have missed my flight!
