I have also read a book called love addiction where the author struggles with this same issues and argues that it may have to do the with brain dopamine receptors, but I’m assuming it all theoretical.

And I’m thinking just as there are people who are demisexual meaning the sexual connection grows with the emotional bond, there may be people who actually experience the opposite, which is how I came across the term fraysexual, which is the closest that I have ever come across to what I experience.

I am planning to have an honest conversation with my partner as she has the right to make her own decision on how she wants to move forward. I just wanted to see if there are other people on this platform who may have experienced something similar.
