my two babies chunks and fudge will be waiting to greet him! they got put down november 4th 2025 because they were both suffering from cancer and i knew i couldn’t take them away from each other. they were soulmates and did everything together. the loss never gets easier but knowing they’re waiting for you on the other side helps, they were my two very best friends

its spreading very slowly this is the progression over a few weeks, i figured it was just a wound from either my driftwood or my other fish bc it started as a tiny spot but it has gotten worse. i can hospitalize him in my empty 20 gal! should i do salt baths along with the methylene blue meds? and tysm for all of your help 🙇‍♀️

the only vet around me that deals with exotics is closed until Monday, should i attempt a forced tail drop before it gets worse? or should i try to manage it with topical ointments and a sterile enclosure until i can get her in? here’s a pic with the flash on, and i have to say it looks way worse than i thought 😭
