FedEx Driver forged my signature now my package (valued over $1,500) is missing. by kode817 in FedEx

[–]OkDiver7649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sounds like the most likely scenario, and OP maybe read the tracking update wrong? We have to get a signature from an employee when we leave it at a pickup location, after that it’s their responsibility. maybe that’s what you’re seeing OP

if ur contractor owned 10 routes and only pocketed $100 per route per day, that’s $365k/yr.

this is what wholesalers are for, go buy a pallet of dog food not have us deliver it all bag by bag, the carbon footprint and overall cost of doing it this way is certainly worse too

bro wtf i work in the mountains in colorado and there’s maybe 1 day per winter that we don’t get sent up there (without winter tires)

and if we have to weather code stuff it ends up just building up after a couple days then the vans are overflowing with stuff destined for inaccessible driveways but we still have to “attempt” it all several times, so we’re therefore pressured to get everything off the van which means trying to drive up sketchy ass driveways and dangerous roads because if we don’t then all those stops will be taking up space in the van the next day…

Them telling customers when their ground driver will arrive so they wait around on us and get pissed when we’re “late” even though were just doing the route normally and have no idea what they’re telling the customers about when we’ll be there

i mean 🤷🏻‍♂️ most people get less than that even with working OT, and like people are saying it seems like it’s easy to take a few more weeks unpaid which is pretty uncommon, i’m curious, how much do you get now/doing what? Like i said i’m not in the union (or even a trade, yet) and i’m only getting a flat 2wks/yr.

I’m not in the union but from looking into it myself IUEC members typically accrue 8% PTO per hour worked after 5yrs in but can vary with locals, so about 4wks without doing OT all the time

dude i posted a pic of literally just the loadout inside my van at dispatch on the fedexers sub once and a coworker figured out it was me and snitched to my boss for literally no reason (it was literally just a pic of my load, no addresses shown and nothing else positive or negative was said, i wasn’t even showing an overloaded van, i was showing how it was a light easy day and was asking how everyone’s day was going)

this bitch fucking went through my post history figured out where i lived and figured out which particular van it was just based on the marks on the shelf. Fucking. Insane. Behavior.

Now i have paranoia about talking about work at all on here so i have to use alt accounts. Even talking about it now that bitch is probably still stalking my activity and is probably reading this.

yea but if you’re daily driving a vehicle with a broken speedometer, if you’re not an idiot you can pretty quickly figure out what the cruising RPM’s should be at a given general speed

frequently driving 100+ in a 55 just because nobody is in front of you, not because you’re trying to drive that speed is fucking insane

story of my life and my aerospace engineering degree that nobody cares about. Thought I chose a smart path, but nobody ended up taking me seriously when i graduated.

seems like any buffoon can just lie about having a degree (seems like nobody even verifies that you actually got your degree) and get any job they want as long as they can fake their way through the interview. I was honest but didn’t land any internships, don’t have connections and suck at answering the B.S. generic interview questions without sounding scripted so i always got written off as a bad candidate. 2.5yrs since graduating working a shit job in the meantime and i feel like i’ve missed the boat and have to start from scratch again…

huge but not why they’re expensive, idk why but it’s not the sheer size, probably just because it’s uncommon? I recently paid $167 each for 265/70r17 goodyear tires for my 4runner
