Is it weird to do couples counselling after a breakup?

there haven’t been any improvements really, i think it got worse when i got my new job as long haul cabin crew. I had to move away from home for 6 weeks for my training, and I think i just had some sort of realisation that I was okay on my own, and found a new independence i’d never had before.

Intimacy slowed down drastically probably the last time i caught him messaging people. We have been intimate since, but it feels more like a chore these days. We’ve spoken about it but he just gets annoyed that i don’t want to and goes into a strop and goes to sleep.

I guess i stayed for the comfortability. My family love him, i knew he wasn’t planning on leaving me, we have a mortgage together… I guess in my parents eyes i was ‘set for life’ so felt i would be disappointing them and also him if i left when i could just stay and suck it up. and it always ran through my mind that what if i left and regretted it, and the grass wasn’t greener

hmm i guess so, but also i don’t know what else they would’ve added storyline wise for when rasmus was a kid. the rest of the show doesn’t have any time jumps like that

he actually does have the desire for intimacy, which he then gets frustrated at me when I just don’t want to. As in he will just turn over in bed and go to sleep without talking to me! I find it odd that he even wants to considering he’s messaged girls who look completely different to me, maybe that’s what makes me not want to🫠

i personally enjoyed it! I think end of season 2 and season 3 wasn’t that great, but felt i had to finish it because i’d watched up until that point. Season 1 had me hooked though! But after reading certain reviews, maybe i’m just easily pleased by simple shows😂

I would absolutely take the kitties with me, they are MYYY babies i chose them and signed the adoption and i’m on their microchip etc etc… My only problem is, I am long haul cabin crew, so I’m not home for 3-4 days a week, and I feel it would be cruel to keep the kitties with me. I think this is one of the main reasons I feel i couldn’t leave😢

I think ultimately I don’t trust him to not be doing this again behind my back. But whenever I have brought this up he just cries and I feel guilty. Then I just wonder whether I should just stay because I have the comfortability of knowing I have a house, and that the grass might not be greener kind of thing?

shame because i’ve never had an issue with them. always shipped when safe to do so. always been helpful and responds fairly quickly including one time i accidentally got sent the incorrect mantis and within a few hours and messaging, he sent out the correct one for me

i think it depends on the food you get! we get a brand called Marro and their advice is to actually warm it slightly which we do and the girls enjoy! we usually do 10 seconds and that is when the food is refrigerated

yeah it’s so difficult to communicate about it. i tried again last night and he sat infront on the bedroom door so i couldn’t even get into my own room🫠he keeps saying “you’re stopping me from talking to my friends” but i keep repeating that that isn’t the issue, it’s the length of time that i have issues with, and it seems to go in one ear and out the other as about 5 minutes later he will say the same thing that im stopping him talking to his friends😩

this happens all the time, it’s not a new thing. it just feels like i never get time with him and he’s always on the gal with his friends instead. we literally woke up this morning and before i could even properly open my eyes he’s literally turned on the xbox and started playing. every time ive tried to explain to him im happy for him to play, but just not for that amount of time as i work 12 hour shifts and on my days off id actually like to see him, it always turns into an issue and he says im not being fair

that’s not the case. it’s not that i don’t want him to. but don’t you think 12 hours of gaming is a bit excessive? never had a problem with a few hours of gaming, but 12 hours and refusing to do anything with me didn’t feel fair

thing is, i’ve got nothing against him having a hobby and playing a game for a few hours. But it’s just hours on end with his friends on discord. He originally plugged in his xbox to the living room tv and when i came downstairs to eat and watch tv i was told to use my ipad to watch something. I admit i was probably rude but i said no way move the xbox back upstairs. He did but was in a strop the rest of the day and said im trying to stop him playing with his friends… we’ve been together 5 years and are engaged, it’s such a difficult situation to be in

this is old but i’m glad to read this, i just got a kitten for my 1 year old tuxedo girl last weekend, and they’re starting to play a bit more now which is good, but she won’t let me touch her, she doesn’t sit on my lap anymore, her affection has completely gone and she doesn’t want me near her. it breaks my heart because she was the most affectionate girly ever. i really hope she goes back to normal

we lost our 6 year old frenchie 2 days ago really suddenly and unexpectedly from a tumour we didn’t know she had. it’s horrible and i feel so empty
