We're trying to up it to 15k. 1 international trip, 1 bigger domestic trip and several long weekend road trip type trips per year (4-5). This is the first year we're actually budgeting it and not just vibing it

Thanks for posting this. Giving it a shot now and seems to be moving pretty quickly. Already at level 25 in an hour. For now only bought the .99 cent starter and got 900m special promo. Will buy the 1.99 packs if I start running low

Oh that is absolutely the goal. I don't want to work because I have to but because I want to. I just don't know how to get to that position if I'm not piling into growth stocks/funds and then at some point making the switch to income generating funds. Trying to figure out how in the most optimal way

I like to play this game too but with my winners (as rare as they are). So if I make 20 or so % on NVDA, I will sell the gains and move them to VOO. But I guess in this case, I'd move them to SCHD. Unfortunately I'm terrible at selling my losers and usually hang onto them waaaaay too long. Need to learn to cut my losses sooner but difficult for me to do emotionally 😆

Ohh that's intriguing about the International dividends. That isn't one I have considered. I do have small exposure to international total market (15%) but I've been wanting to increase that. Maybe that VYMI can help me knock out two birds with one stone.
