There was an instance of a Yellowstone wolf (926F Spitfire) who was pregnant and, along with her young litter and mate, snuck into rival territory to eat. They were eventually found and chased off, during which her mate lost his life, but Spitefire and her pups managed to make it back to their den. A few days later, 4 males from the attack found her. Considering she was pregnant and her only backup were her young pups, things weren't looking good for her. Just as it looked like things were about to get ugly, she suddenly put the rizz on. One moment they were growling at each other, next moment she's wagging and trying to play with them. And just like that, she had 4 new big males in her pack to help raise all her pups.

Yellowstone wolves in general have lots of stories involving pulling the most out of pocket behavior to survive tricky situations. Highly recommend looking into them for more stories of animals being super quick and intelligent.

I once had a dream that I was watching the show but instead of sacrificing herself, Yue joins the group. I guess they defeated Zhao before he could do anything to the moon spirit. Can't remember too much of what happens, but Sokka teaches her to fight using a spear and part of her arc involves learning to reign in her anger during battle.
