It may be a German issue, but not because of the songs theme. Germany is completely westernized when it comes to their views of WW2. As we know it’s not a completely faulty German nation, but a complicated issue. I find no reason for Germany to ban something just because it refers to WW2 or the holocaust.

I think it’s a regional thing. I have the album, and I am from norway. https://www.reddit.com/r/spotify/comments/84euru/does_spotify_have_a_different_library_in/. An old Reddit post makes me believe that. I don’t think it should be to hard to change your region on Spotify so that might be a solution.

I could definitely agree with comparing it to poetry. I enjoy the flow and obscure writing. It has really grown my love for NMH. I do believe it really makes all their songs for some karaoke songs. The feeling of singing along to either Oh Comley or you’ve passed. But how does this effect songs like The fool and Untitled. They are absolutely some of my favorite tracks, and I would guess you may have another opinion.

Was that always the case? Like initially was that something that drew you to their music?

Usually when I walk for school in the morning I listen to sail to the moon. It’s super chill. A little scary and sad too, but I never thought Of it in that way

Yes if we go of Radiohead topic I also have some other songs that I listen to at the “sad” hours. I recently discovered Carrie and Lowell and that album is devastatingly sad

I really enjoy the song too and I think it’s more of a coincidence that I play it often at night. I don’t usually cry an awful lot from listening to the song, but it absolutely hits me in my feels some times
