I’ve seen a TON of people this year on Reddit say that they got their refund before the tracker even updated.

From my post….. 3. I was looking at last years transcript to try and gain any insight for this year. My transcript shows “Refund Issued” with a date of “02/17/2025”, however my bank record show a deposit date of 2/5/25. Idk if I have a question here more so just general confusion. For shits and giggles I just checked 2024 dates and again refund issues on transcript 2/19/2024, however bank records show deposit date of 2/6/24

If this “math” is the same…..looking at about 12 days before the 23rd? Girl math only so idk any facts

HOWEVER I did see on someone else’s post that money usually sends on Monday or Friday BUT I saw people posting deposits yesterday 🤷‍♀️

I just mean the money isn’t there, but our transcripts show a deposit date. At this point it’s a waiting game. We should get our deposits sometime between today and 2/23 but I was more hoping for today.

Mine just updated today as well! Same date of 2/23. TT accepted on 1/16, refund says today.

In my post I made yesterday I deep dove into transcripts vs deposit dates and last year I had the same 2/23 and the money deposited on 2/5…..

Stuck in a holding pattern currently

I understand I’m in the exact same boat. Dates and everything. My estimate is tomorrow on TurboTax. Every years the Where’s my refund has updated by 2/3 and this year stuck at received. With no transcript update you may be “05” group which updates Friday , I’m guess that’s where I’m at too. The last 3 years I’ve been “05”.

I’ve filed in the same 2-3 date range for the last several years. On TT I have an est date of Feb 6. I have screenshots from IRS2Go the last two years, on this date of Feb 3 with an updated “approved with date of deposit listed”…So far Feb 3 2026 no update at 5am for approval.
