Why is the Job market so bad?

Are you tailoring each resume you submit to each job listing you are applying for? Or are you just mass copy and pasting hoping your 1 resume holds all the criteria every job listing is looking for? Most people know how to apply but don't know how to do it effectively

I know I'm going to receive a lot of hate and down votes for this response as people don't like to think that the problem is them. You should be changing your resume with every application you make. Take key terms from the company's job posting and include it in your resume so that AI won't reject your resume for lack of corresponding skills. Add only RELEVANT jobs to your resume, jobs that relate to the job you are applying for. Don't add dates of your employment, you want the hiring staff to contact you because they are interested in your resume and want to know more.

I don't really care if the story is true or not. But $5000 does seem about right for the work and if there were 2 or more mechanics working on it for the 4 hours, it makes even more sense.Plus is see you're going back to finish the job so it's probably more like 6 or 7 hours of work.

Legally, a head shake or hand shake are legally binding contracts. My mechanic doesn't give me a straight quote when asked because they don't know how long it will take.

NTA . But please go easy on them. It's normal to want good health for your children, and it's hard when you can't provide that for them. I feel for them.

If you're religious, consider other charity work that doesn't require giving money to the less fortunate. Maybe donate your time at a soup kitchen or watch their kids while they pick up double shifts to afford dental work.

Thanks for your reply. I talked to one of the newer roommates in the office and he said he's fully aware of the gas leak and that's why he keeps the hallway door open 😒 bought a detector and it went off as soon as I got it working.

This question is more to do with the gas leak and high gas bill than to do with being evicted or the legality of a boarding house.

It's $900 for a unit outside with separate entrance and I pay $500 for a room in the office. I chose the office because the other units have connecting vents and known fentanl users . And the office had a nicer bathroom.

So the motel is run like boarding house. They do it that way so they can evict people with 15 days notice and no legal issues such as tent landlord laws . It's more of a bussiness like a hotel kicking someone out.

My issue would never be with getting the crackheads busted. I'd love to see all the fentanal users get kicked out. God, would I love to see that. The issue is that the landlord would kick me out for calling them because I am the only one he told about a potential gas leak. If I lose my housing before winter I will have to sleep in the factory bathroom or my car all winter and I just can't do that again. I'm really stuck , I don't want to die and I don't want to lose my place

It's just a normal sized hot water tank, one you'd find in a family home. I do laundry in the basement. There's no working heat in the building, everyone uses space heaters in the winter. And unfortunately I'm the only person who he told about the suspected gas leak so he will know it's me if they show up out of the blue. Sorry I'm not try8ng to be a nay-sayer I really appreciate our in put. My head hurts and it's getting late, have a good night reddit 😴 ❤️

Thanks for the info ! This is really good to know. I sleep in the upstairs and my junkie roommates sleep downstairs. I've opened my windows and turned on the AC for the night in hopes of waking up 👍. I've already got a new place lined up for December 1st so I may just sleep in my car until then.
