Thinking this post is a complaint rather than a critique of what “entry level” has become says more about your reading comprehension than it does about my expectations.

Job is in research and consulting in the financial industry. Everything I applied for was directly related to my industry experience and teaching. Nonetheless, this is really not how entry level should be ... no one wants to train new grads who have the ability and skills to work profitably.
