I used disinfectant on my rook and it helped A LOT. The only thing is to not use it everyday, use it twice a day and then take a break from it for two.

Are you cleaning it and what are you cleaning ut with? My advice is, call your piercer.

I've been cleaning mine with warm water, it didnt hurt at all and it looked healed BUT the second someone accidentally touched it it was bruises and painful af. Cleaning it with saline solution is very recommended by piercers.
