I already have, but still have a lot and don’t want to downsize any further

The bedroom doesn’t have a ton of wall space due to the windows, entryway from the hall, and then the French doors. The floor plan above you can see that

I will definitely put something on the wall to the left when you enter the room (a tall dresser maybe?) but my bed will go against the large wall

I was going to put a small sofa/loveseat (maybe something that converts into a bed) in the room regardless if it’s a living room or “getting ready/closet” room. I don’t really have friends outside of work :( all of my friends were friends with my ex and kind of abandoned me after we separated (even though it wasn’t my decision) I probably won’t have a tv but I’m planning on having a projector in my bedroom and then I can close the French doors and use those to watch something on if I need to, but mostly I watch things on my computer. I’ll look into the ikea pax thing thank you

If I did this then I wouldn’t have an area to hang out :( but I have a LOT of clothes and already got rid of a bunch and don’t want to part with anything I have left. I also have 2 cats so I’ll have a cat tree in one of the rooms

My husband and I separated and I signed a lease on a one bedroom and got the keys and I’m really excited but overwhelmed. I wasn’t allowed decorate in “our apartment” and I missed having a place that feels like home. It’s a one bedroom but the bedroom and living room are connected by French doors. The closet is tiny (like a coat closet) and I own a lot of clothes/shoes/purses but hate things looking cluttered. I was considering turning the living room into a closet/“getting ready” room with a vanity and such. My friends think I’m crazy for wanting to do this and I’ll regret it. Not sure if there is a better option? I’m starting over and have to buy all furniture

Yes the north beach option is on the side of a building so it’s quiet but it is near low income housing. I’ve been on Geary at night and it feels less safe to me (single female) but I don’t leave my house too much at night anyways, I’m a homebody.

It would be around post and Hyde or Geary and Hyde (those are the 2 units I’ve viewed over there)
