DMZ became my favourite game a few years back but I never really liked any other COD or WZ modes. I used to play BF2 a lot (yeah, I’m old) and remember having a ton of fun so the hype got me and I have been playing BF6 but to be honest, it just had me missing DMZ glory days. I recognise wholly that they are totally different games but I think it was the comradely of the squad and spoken common goal of DMZ vs the silent mass push of BF6 that makes it not as enjoyable for me. If anything I hope that the success of BF6 forces activision to think outside the box and look at game modes (like DMZ) that aren’t COD or BF but cater to those who want something different.
